Sailing

Hello Cheapo Dies Fans!  Lori here today and I made this Mother's Day card with the Exclusive Cheapo Dies Sailing

For this A2 card I started by cutting out the Exclusive Sailing die in white paper and using my copic markers to color the sails, sun and boat.  I inked the edges of the die with Weathered Wood distress ink.  I then cut the Sailing die out again with the blue dotted paper and with the dark blue paper.  I pieced the blue dot paper in for the sky and I took the dark blue paper an inlaid that into the sailboat to look like water splashing on the boat as it sails.  I added all of the die pieces to the blue marbled paper, inked the edges with Salty Ocean distress ink and added that to the white card base.  I took some black ink and the sentiments and stamped them onto to the card.  Now I know most people don't think of Mom's sailing a sailboat, but this reminded me of when I was a Girl Scout Leader and took a sailing class with my daughter and some other scouts!  We had a blast learning how to navigate a sunfish sailboat!

Be sure to stop back here often to get some more creative ideas on how to use these amazing dies!

Thanks for stopping by!
