Terrific TuesDIE Turtle Die Flower Card by Melinda

Happy TuesDIE crafty friends!
Hope you had a great holiday weekend for those here in the states. It is another Terrific TuesDIE and that means another fun project created with dies. Here is my card.

I created this square card 5.5 x 5.5. The base of the cardstock is a Kraft cardstock.  The patterned paper is from the Kaisercraft Island Escape paper pad. I did use my teal ink to ink the edges of the patterned paper.

I then used my cross stitch circle die to create a base for my flower. The flower is comprised of the turtle die from Cheapo Dies. I cut it out 5 times in white cardstock and then cut it down and then inked them. I adhered them to a little circle for the center.

Here’s a closer look at the flower. I used some Dew Drops to decorate the center of the flower. I then used my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen to add a little shimmer to the petals. I then also shaped the petals to give them a more realistic look.

I used an RG Studio 360 digital stamp sentiment and printed it out on clear transparency.

I then added a cute little bow to the stem.
