Sunflower With Heartfelt Thanks Card by Melinda

Happy TuesDIE crafty friends!
Hope your week is off to a great start! Today I am sharing a cheerful card of thanks featuring the Sunflower n’ Fence Die from CheapoDies.com.
sunflower fence card
Here’s a look at my completed card. It is an A2 Size but in horizontal orientation. I started with a white cardstock base. I then cut a mat of buttercream yellow and then used some papers from Doodlebug and DCWV for the patterned papers.

I started by cutting the die cut in plain white cardstock. I then colored the flowers and leaves with my Copic markers and then brushed some ink onto the fence part. I layered the flowers and the fence piece to give them more dimension. I added little dots of Stickles to the centers of the flowers to give them some extra sparkle.

created my sentiment and printed it out and then used my rectangle scallop stitched die to cut it out. I used a couple of mini brads and some wire from my stash to make the sign hang from the fence post. In this close up, you can also see the great embossing lines of the die cut on the fence and the leaves.

Here is one last look at my completed card. Such a cheerful die cut and a real nice size to make it the focal point of a card.

Pocket Bouquet by Gloria Lee

Hello everyone!
Happy Monday!!!

Gloria here today, I want to share with you a card using Pocket Boquet die from Cheapo dies.

Here is what I came up with :

To create this card, I die cut the pocket boquet image from white card stock  and die cut one more time for the pocket part from little flowers patterned paper. I then colored the flower part using Copic markers.

I die cut the circle from Mysterious teal card stock using Unbranded Dotted circle die set and die cut flowers from white card stock using Boot Boquet die. I adhere the white flower die cut on pattered papers and mounted it on A2 white card base using double-sided tape. I adhere pocket boquet on the die cut circle.

I brushed Wink of stella and added Glossy accents on the colored flowers, and added some shiny gemstones.

Sailing Ship

Arrg!!  Lori here today with a fun Pirate Ship card for you!!  I made this card using the Cheapo Dies Exclusive Sailing Ship die and the crossbones from the Exclusive Pirate Octopus die.

 And

For this A2 card I started out with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took some red & white striped paper, inked the edges with red ink and added that to the card.  Next I cut out the Exclusive Sailing Ship die several times with different papers and then pieced it all together.  Next I took a scrap of white paper and the Exclusive Pirate Octopus die and cut out the crossbones from the pirate hat and added them to the sail on the ship.  I cut out some blue marble paper with an oval die and then added the Sailing Ship to the paper.  I took some blue paper and used my Creative Memories Wave cartridge border maker to cut out the waves and added them to the oval. I took some black ink and the Ahoy Mate sentiment and stamped that onto the card and then I added the oval to the card.  I took some red & white bakers twine and a silver anchor charm and tied that around the top edge of the card.

Palm Trees

Hey everyone, Anne here and today I'd like to share a vacation getaway card using the Palm Trees exclusive dies from Cheapo Dies.

I started out by creating the background using Yupo paper and Nuvo Shimmer Powders.  (The photos don't do justice to these powders - they are SO shimmery in person!).  I set that aside to dry and began working on the focal point.

I die cut the Palm Trees three times (in black, dark green, and orange cardstock) and then paper pieced the colored cardstock back into the silhouette.

The sentiment is stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with White Detail embossing powder.

The final touch was to add a few Nuvo Jewel Drops to the card base.

This was a quick card to put together but I think it gives quite a punch of color and definitely makes me wish I could take a vacation in the tropics.

Until next week....

Hello crafty friends!
Melinda here for another fun Terrific TuesDIE card!
IMG_2328
Today I am featuring a super fun card created with the Cheapo Dies Seahorses Die! I just love this die! My card is a standard A2 Size card. The patterned papers are from Doodlebug. I cut the Seahorse sDie cut from some white cardstock.

IMG_2332
I then set to coloring the seahorses with my Copic markers. I used a purple color and then some green for the seaweed. I used a blue for the bubbles. I then went to town adding stickles and some Mint Ranger Liquid Pearls for the scales on the larger horse. I then covered the entire horse with some Crystal Stickles to really give them a whole bunch of yummy shimmer. I adhered the die cut to a purple oval mat using the largest scallop stitched oval from my die set.

Here’s a closer look at the larger seahorse. You also see that I used some White Liquid Pearls for the eyes.

Here’s a closer look at the cute little sentiment. I created it and then printed it out and cut it out with my smallest scallop stitched oval die. I then used some twin and created a bow. For a little extra bells and whistles, I added some pretty little gems to my bow and to the top and one of the larger bubbles.
