Happy Terrific TuesDIE crafty friends,
Melinda here with you today. It is my turn to share and I am excited to share this super pretty shaker card I created!
Here is a look at my completed card. It is an A2 base. I used a couple o the stitched scallop rectangle dies and created a frame. I then backed it with a piece of acetate and then gave it some lift with some foam tape. I used a piece of patterned paper from the DCWV Magnolia Stack. It is gorgeous and colorful paper. I kept everything else white to give it a clean look.
Here’s a closer look at the pretty heart die. I popped up the little heart and glued both pieces on top of the acetate cover. I added some flat back pearls and used some Nuvo Drops for the smaller drops around the scalloped edge. I added some seed beads, some beads from Queen and Company and some glitter to the inside for the “shaker part”.
Here’s a closer look at the sentiment I created. I printed it out and added it to the border of seam binding ribbon.
Here’s a closer look at the seam binding ribbon bow.
Here is one last look at my finished card. I think it turned out really pretty.
