Christmas is Coming!

Hello All!
Darlene with you today sharing a fun holiday creation.
We all enjoy decorating our homes for the holidays and I thought this beautiful flock of cardinals would like a little holiday dressing up of their home too.

The latest release die I have used is the 'Winter Birdhouse'.

A few various colored cuts, a fine tipped bottle of glue & a pair of 'snips' and the decorating begins.  Here are the steps I took on today's Winter Birdhouse.

My first cut was from white cardstock.  Then I traced out around the metal die, did a little cutting/gluing ...

and now I have a snow covered brown birdhouse.

Next came the birds ...

How about a little decorating on the front door ...

VIOLA ...

Snowflake corner dies cuts adorn the upper corners of my old SU designer paper and a little red/white bakers twine was strung through a paper pierced hole to hang & adorn the top of the house.

I hope you've enjoyed what I've shared today, and, if you're not familiar with Cheapo Dies, you are missing out!!!

Here's a listing of their store, blog & FB links to help you get familiar:
Thanks to all of you for stopping by today!
Here's wishing you a FABULOUS week ahead!

  1. This is so cute! I am glad you explained it step by step. I will have to get that die. I have looked at it in the past, but never purchased. I love the Cheapo dies. They cut great and are very cute.
