Branches by Gloria

Hello crafty friends, Happy Monday.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
Today I want to share a card using branches die.

To create this card, first I cut a 4.25" x 5.5" rectangle panel from watercolor paper. For the watercolored background, I used Kuretake watercolors.

I die cut the branches using branches die from white card stock. Once the background panel was dry, I adhere the branches on it using Zig glue pen first and then, added all elements as shown in the picture using foam tape.

Love U Bunches

Hello All!
Darlene with you today sharing a sweet card for your 'Sweetie'
using dies from the Cheapo Dies Store.

The dies I have used today are:

Cheapo Dies - Elephant Love

Cheapo Dies - Cursive Font
I had some fun creating with this adorable elephant die and as I was creating this card my mind was swirling with other ideas ... i.e.,  a child's birthday card, a baby card (pink elephant or blue) or you could cut off the heart balloons and just use this adorable little guy all by himself.)
 Here's a few steps taken for today's card share . . .

I die cut from three different colors of card stock ... white (entire die), pink (elephant) and red (balloon bouquet).  After adhering the red balloons over the white, I decided to add back in the pink balloons that I had cut from the elephant and tucked them in behind the red ones.  This gave me a BIG bouquet of balloons when completed.

I placed a little square of black card stock on the back of my elephant to give him a more defined eye.

Isn't he just the cutest!
And the markings on his ears & legs die cut beautifully!!
Fabulous definition!

I've popped him up on a couple stackable hearts then added my sentiment off to the side.  By using these 'font' dies, you can spell out what ever you want ... how cool is that!
REMEMBER ... Valentine's Day is right around the corner!!
I hope you've enjoyed what I've shared today, and, if you're not familiar with Cheapo Dies, you are missing out!!!

Awareness Ribbon

Hello Cheapo Dies Fans!!  Lori here today with a card I made with the Cheapo Dies Awareness Ribbon.  I love the scrolls on this beautiful die!

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of pale green paper with white glitter dots, inked the edges with Spun Sugar distress ink and attached it to the card.  I then took the Awareness Ribbon die and some pink paper and cut out the awareness ribbon and added that to the card.  I took the sentiment and some VersaMark and stamped the sentiment onto the card and then I head embossed it with Rose Gold embossing powder.  I took some white & pink bakers twine and wrapped that around the card twice.  I took never, never give up charm and tied that onto the card.

Be sure to stop back often to get some more inspiration from the Design Team!!

Watercolored Heart Frame

Hello, Friends. Happy Tuesday!
It's kReN@afourthlife here sharing another project
using some of the wonderful products from Cheapo Dies.
Today I am using the Heart Frame and the love sentiment
from Loads of Love.

Tuesday Tips:
I used a new technique for this card called freezer paper masking.  I cut the Heart Frame die from freezer paper and ironed it onto watercolor paper.  I watercolored around the image and peeled up the mask when it was dry.  I added Nuvo Drops to the flower centers, and cut the sentiment three times and put it on the card.  I debated about adding some sequins, but in the end, I loved the subtle sherbet colors of the card.
It was a fun technique and I will share another card soon using this technique.

Sunny Daisies, Flower doily

Hello crafty friends!
Happy Monday, Today have a card with the Sunny Daisies , Flower doily die.

Here is what I came up with :

To create the card, I die cut Sunny Daisies , Flower doily from white wood grain card stock first, then I die cut a circle with Unbranded Dotted circle die from white card stock. I blended the die cut circle using Salty ocean and evergreen bough Distress inks using mini blending tool and added some water splatters all over the panel and then adhere the Sunny Daisies die cut on the blended paper.

I blended the background paper's edges with dried marigold Distress ink using mini blending tool and adhere the Flower doily die cut on the center of the background paper. And the adhere the blended circle on the Flower doily using double-sided foam tape.

Let's Escape Winter . . .

with a trip to the Islands!

Hello All!
Darlene with you today sharing a Winter Escape to the Islands creation
using dies from the Cheapo Dies Store.

If you live in an area that is experiencing WINTER at the present time, then the thought promoted by this card will catch your eye!   Wouldn't it be nice to be basking in the sun on a far away island watching the palm trees sway in the ocean breeze?   THAT is where my mind was when creating this card and watching the snow flying around outside.

The die I have used on today's card is

Cheapo Dies - Palm Trees

My vision for today's card was to have this die as my main focus so I began by die cutting from various scraps of colored card stock and my main image from white card stock.  Then started piecing my scene together.

Next came all the pieces I needed (which many were left over bits & bobs from past creations) to bring this island scene to life.

The seashells, stamp, sentiment panel were all fussy cut from a scrap piece of Graphic45 seaside designer paper I had in my stash.

I hope you've enjoyed what I've shared today, and, if you're not familiar with Cheapo Dies, you are missing out!!!

Valentine Love Heart

Hello Cheapo Dies Fans!!  Lori here today with a Valentine's Day card that I made using the Cheapo Dies Love Heart die:

For this A2 card I started with Neenah Desert Storm paper for the base of the card.  I took a piece of Lemoncraft paper, torn the right side with my distress ruler, inked the edges with Victorian Velvet distress ink and then added that to the card.  I took the Cheapo Dies Love Heart die and some tan and pink paper and cut it out with each color paper.  I took the tan heart and attached it to the deep rose paper and then fussy cut along the edge.  I put some pop-dots on the back of the heart and then I added that to the card.  I took the pink heart and attached that to some Desert Storm paper and then fussy cut around the heart, put some pop-dots on the back and added that to the card.  I took some Rose Crinkle Ribbon and wrapped that around the card and then I added a bow made from the same ribbon.  Now don't you think this is ready for someone special?  I sure do!!

Be sure to stop back often to get some more inspiration from the Design Team!!
